The Currituck Beach Lighthouse is the northernmost lighthouse in North Carolina, standing 162 ft. tall and housing a 12,000+ lbs. First Order fresnel lens. The Currituck Beach Light Station has been under the care and restoration of the non-profit group Outer Banks Conservationists since 1986 and remains fully operational and open to public.
